Patrick M. Martyn

Patrick Martyn’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate with an emphasis on acquisition, development, finance, construction contracts and title related issues. Many of his cases involve the acquisition of land for residential development, as well as the acquisition and financing of improved commercial properties and retail shopping centers. In addition, he counsels residential homebuilders in conjunction with various outsale and consumer-related issues including contract documentation and disclosures, as well as custom homebuilding issues. He also counsels owners and contractors in conjunction with construction contracts.
Mr. Martyn was recently appointed by the Maryland State Bar Association to serve on the Commission to Study the Title Insurance Industry in Maryland. The purpose of the Commission is to study the title insurance industry in Maryland and make recommendations for changes to State laws.
