
Sedica Sawez joined the firm in May 2004. Her practice focuses primarly on business transactions, including general business planning, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private placements and licensing agreements. Ms. Sawez also has experience in commercial litigation, work-outs, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, assisting troubled companies through the reorganization process and advising creditors of their rights through bankruptcy.
In law school, Ms. Sawez served as an Associate Editor of the Student Editorial Board of the Business Lawyer, and is the co-author of "Toward a Uniform Parent Corporation Liability Standard Under CERCLA" University of Pittsburgh Law Review, Summer 1999. She is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court.
