Shawn J. Sefret

Partner

Shawn Sefret is a partner with the firm whose practice focuses on real estate transactions including development and finance, as well as commercial lending, business, and contract matters. Mr. Sefret counsels commercial real estate developers as well as institutional lenders.

Recent representative transactions include:

◊ Representation of retail developer in all aspects of financing, development, and construction of shopping center, including:

- Drafting and negotiation of land acquisition documents;
- Negotiation of construction financing;
- Drafting and negotiation of shopping center declaration and easement agreements; and
- Drafting and negotiation of leases with national and regional tenants.


◊ Representation of purchaser in all aspects of acquisition and financing of marina through a mix of conventional, SBA, and seller take-back financing.

◊ Ongoing representation of national bank in acquisition and working capital financing for regional petroleum distributors involving loan facilities exceeding $100,000,000 and portfolios containing several hundred locations.
