
Christine Pham focuses her practice on complex civil litigation. She represents individuals and businesses in cases involving real estate development, commercial disputes, employment, insurance coverage, estate issues, and professional liability matters. Ms. Pham counsels corporations with respect to internal investigations and potential civil as well as criminal exposure.
Ms. Pham has a strong trial background having begun her career as a medical malpractice attorney, and regularly handles bench and jury cases in Maryland state and federal courts. In 2006, Ms. Pham obtained one of the largest punitive damages awarded by a Howard County jury in Flurry v. Flurry. Recently, she successfully defended a $1.8 million real estate development action in Star Hotels, Inc. v. G&R/Maple Lawn K, LLC.
As the vice-chair of the Ethics Committee of the MSBA, Ms. Pham frequently handles ethics inquiries and is a regular speaker on the subject. She has taught the Professionalism course to new Maryland bar admittees since 2001.
